Our first International Quantum Camp took place as kick-off for the initiative in Wałbrzych, Poland from February 18-21. Prof. Dr. Jörg Lässig from the EAD Research Group led the workshop. We discussed latest developments of quantum algorithms and computing particularly in the domain of machine learning and combinatorial optimization. The foundations of quantum computing and the classical algorithms of Grover and Shor paved the way to deeper understanding of those mainly hybrid quantum-classical algorithms.
